Iris LOVE
"Iris Love" is a poetic dialogue between technology, nature, and the essence of feminine strength, brought to life through a silver choker inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe’s evocative artwork Black Iris. My intention is to capture the enduring strength and resilience of women.
The iris, a symbol of power, resurrection, and life, finds its roots in ancient Egyptian mythology and the authority of medieval Europe. It is also intertwined with the Greek goddess Iris, the divine messenger of the rainbow, who represents the connection between the celestial and the earthly.
The form of the choker carries a profound narrative. Historically, chokers were worn by slaves as a mark of their status, symbolizing submission and restraint. With this piece, I aim to subvert those associations, encouraging women to break free from these constraints, embrace their authentic selves, and stand firm in defending their rights and spirit.
Crafted using PLA, a recyclable and eco-friendly material for 3D printing, the choker embodies resilience. Even if it breaks, it can be reshaped under high temperatures, echoing the themes of renewal and transformation—just like the iris.
Through this work, I aspire to inspire wearers to pursue their dreams and celebrate their identities. As I present Iris Love for the IDA Award, I invite reflection on the intricate relationship between art, identity, and the timeless legacy of the iris, celebrating the harmonious blend of nature and innovation."
THE GRIP
In my work, "The Grip," the iris flower serves as a beautiful and symbolic representation of the deep connection between nature and humanity. This 3D-printed hand adornment seamlessly merges the elegance of a traditional flower with contemporary craftsmanship, creating a piece that is both aesthetically captivating and rich in meaning.
The iris flower is often associated with hope, faith, and strength. In this piece, the adornment is more than just an artistic expression; it embodies the idea of companionship and support. When worn, it gives the impression of holding hands, symbolizing the presence of another, a reminder that one is never truly alone. This aspect emphasizes the strength of femininity and the importance of solidarity.

“Neo-Classic Embodiment” is a 3D-printed clothing collection inspired by the goddesses of ancient Greece, designed to blend classic aesthetics with modern technology. Each piece aims to convey the strength, elegance, and mystique of these timeless figures while exploring new dimensions of feminine identity through innovative design and craftsmanship.
This collection draws inspiration from the goddesses of Greek mythology, who embody the power and beauty of nature, as well as wisdom, courage, and love. Through the use of 3D printing, I create unique fabrics and structures that lend a sense of fluidity and dimension to each garment, marrying classical charm with contemporary fashion.
“Neo-Classic Embodiment” is not only a tribute to classical beauty but also a celebration of contemporary female empowerment. It invites women to embrace a fusion of tradition and modernity in their self-expression, enabling a transformation and elevation of the self.
